Revamped hotel opened

Manama, Mar. 22 (BNA): The Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), Shaikh Khaled bin Humood Al-Khalifa, inaugurated the renovated Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Residence and Spa. The renovation included 246 guest rooms, hotel lobby and the main restaurant. New designs have also been added to the new café. The total cost of the project amounted to BD 7.4 Million, which comes as part of the National Hotels Company expansion plans in line with the tourism boom and the growing market demand.  "We are delighted to witness the unveiling of the renovated hotel and the improvement in the quality of services offered for guests, coinciding with the various festival and events that are being held in the Kingdom. Developing the tourism facilities and services will further enhance the Kingdom’s tourism infrastructure, which is considered one of the main pillars under BTEA’s strategy to further strengthen the tourism sector," said Shaikh Khaled.
