Seminar on ‘US Taxation for Expatriates’ on Monday

Manama, May 6 (BNA): The American Chamber of Commerce in Bahrain (AmCham) will be hosting an evening seminar titled ‘US Taxation for Expatriates’ on Monday. Deloitte’s representative, Steven Youngblood, Tax Managing Director - Global Employer Services based in Houston, Texas will discuss and answer questions on the new US tax reforms and the impact on expats. This seminar will be of interest to US citizens living overseas who file taxes as well as those holding significant US assets. Topics to be covered include recent US tax reforms and the impact on individuals - comparative analysis between 2017 and 2018, eligibility for the foreign earned income and foreign housing exclusion, Foreign Financial Asset Reporting requirements, and eligibility for retirement contributions for Expats.
