Sendayu Aims To Open 300 Outlets Nationwide Within Five Years

By Kamaliza Kamaruddin KUALA TERENGGANU (Terengganu, Malaysia), April 7 (Bernama) -- Cosmetics, food and health drink firm, Sendayu Tinggi Holdings, aims to open 300 outlets nationwide within five years. Its executive director, Norhayati Kamarzaman, said the Bumiputera company, which currently has only 30 outlets nationwide, was optimistic of achieving the target following the increase in its members and the outlets in each state recording average sales of RM40,000 (US$13,046.31) a month. "We aim to open an outlet in each district where it will offer business opportunities and jobs for the locals. "For Terengganu, we are looking for suitable locations in Dungun and Kemaman to open the outlets this year," she told Bernama here on Saturday. She said for a distributor needed an investment of RM250,000 (US$81,539.47) to open an outlet. She said Sendayu members could get a 10-30 per cent discount for each item as a mark of appreciation from the company. The company would hold a big promotion exercise this year to boost the sales of its products, she said. -- BERNAMA
