Sharjah National Hotel Corporation re-opens Oceanic Khorfakkan Hotel and Resort

Sharjah, June 24, 2013 (WAM) - Sharjah National Hotel Corporation has announced the re-opening of the Oceanic Khorfakkan Hotel and Resort in the Emirate of Sharjah after the completion of development and expansion works. The Dh200 million upgrade included design, renovations, and development of the hotel's previous building and facilities, as well as the incorporation of additional facilities that included villas and chalets into the new design of the resort situated on the coastline of Khorfakkan. Othman Mohammed Sharif, Board Chairman of Sharjah National Hotel Corporation, said, "The development and upgrading of the Oceanic Hotel aims to cope with the impressive tourism growth in the region in keeping with the leadership of Sharjah's directives to stimulate the tourist movement." – Emirates News Agency, WAM
