Singapore, Abu Dhabi Strengthen Bilateral Collaboration

By Tengku Noor Shamsiah Tengku Abdullah SINGAPORE, May 8 (Bernama) -- Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Executive Affairs Authority of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi (EAA) discuss ways to strengthen overall cooperation between the two countries at the two-day 6th Abu Dhabi-Singapore Joint Forum (ADSJF) in Abu Dhabi. Minister of State for Trade and Industry, and National Development Lee Yi Shyan and EAA Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak, co-chaired the two-day forum which ended in Abu Dhabi on Monday, according to a statement by the Ministry of Trade and Industry. ADSJF underscores the strong bilateral ties between Singapore and Abu Dhabi. Some 100 government and business representatives from Abu Dhabi and Singapore convened to strategise collaboration in the areas of urban planning, media development, waste and wastewater management and research and development for semi-conductors. --BERNAMA
