Startups' fair in Thailand set late this month
BANGKOK, September 25 (TNA) - The Ministry of Science and Technology, will, late this month, organize a business event to promote Thailand's startups.
Science and Technology Minister Suvit Maesincee reported to Thai Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-ocha on Tuesday, prior to the Cabinet weekly meeting at Bangkok's Government House, that the startups' fair will be organized at the IMPACT Arena, Exhibition and Convention Center in Muang Thong Thani on the outskirts of Bangkok during September 28-29.
On the occasion, the minister also led a group of potential Thai startups to pay a courtesy call on the Thai premier.
The minister said the potential Thai startups have been successful in the development of innovative products that are beneficial to the Thai government in terms of enhancing its
efficiency in providing public services.
According to the minister, the innovative products developed by the modeled Thai startups include a situation awareness system that can work with other surveillant equipment, namely close circuit television (CCTV) systems produced by multi-countries, and communication systems to be used for patients' access to their doctors via the Internet system for their medical counseling services.
The minister revealed that the modeled Thai innovations will be on public display at the upcoming two-day startups' fair together with other innovative products developed by other potential startups. (TNA)
