Thai tourism likely to meet target in 2016
BANGKOK, November 25 (TNA) - Thai Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-ocha expects the domestic tourism to expand by at least 6 per cent year-on-year in last quarter of this year and to meet its targeted
revenues in 2016.
The prime minister made the assessment on Friday, after visiting the Ministry of Tourism and Sports to follow up ministerial plans under the government's 20-year national strategy plan.
"The government hopes that Thailand should earn more tourism revenues by at least 6 per cent year-on-year in the 4th quarter of this year, after the domestic tourism had met an official target during the first three quarters of this year", said the prime minister. (TNA)
