TNB Remaco Wins 2012 Power Plant Service Provider Award Of The Year

KUALA LUMPUR, May 10 (Bernama) -- TNB Repair and Maintenance Sdn Bhd (TNB REMACO), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tenaga Nasional Bhd, has bagged "The Power Plant Service Provider of the Year 2012" award by Frost & Sullivan Malaysia. The award was presented at the 2012 Frost & Sullivan Malaysia Excellence Awards banquet held recently in recognition of TNB REMACO's sterling performance and lead role as a power plant service provider in the country. TNB REMACO was selected out of two other companies namely General Electric Malaysia and Alstom Malaysia Sdn Bhd for the award by independent judges comprising influential personalities and leaders in Malaysia. TNB REMACO was first established as a unit within the National Electricity Board in 1979 dedicated towards carrying out turbine service and repair work. The company also offers comprehensive range of testing and diagnostic services as part of its total solutions approach to customer service besides providing its expertise to the oil and gas industry.
