UAE and Egypt reiterate their common desire for stronger trade relations

Bali, Indonesia: The UAE and Egypt have reiterated their common desire for expanding and boosting their trade relations and opening new avenues for investments in the service of the interests of their two peoples.
Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, UAE Minister of Economy, and Mounir Fakhry Abdel-Nour, Egypt's Minister of Industry '&' Foreign Trade, at a meeting on the margins of the 9th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) which started yesterday on the Indonesian island of Bali, underlined the role of the private sector in creating investment partnerships between the two countries in light of their diverse economic potential.
At the meeting, the two ministers discussed the current UAE investments in Egypt and the efforts to overcome any barriers to the flow of investments between the two countries.
In his remarks at the meeting, the Egyptian minister affirmed that regaining the confidence of UAE investor in particular, and Arab and foreign investors in general, is a top priority for his ministry.
The two ministers also discussed the agenda of the current 9th Ministerial Conference of WTO.
Minister Al Mansouri is leading the UAE delegation to the WTO ministerial meeting in Bali. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
