UAE envoy meets BCCI delegation

Manama, Apr. 5 (BNA): The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Abdel Ridha Abdullah Al Khoury, has met a delegation from Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) headed by board member Abdelhakeem Al Shemmeri. The ambassador praised the Chamber's role in bolstering the bilateral economic, business ties and increasing mutual trade exchange, affirming the embassy's provision of all facilitations to boost the volume of trade. The delegation thanked the ambassador and conveyed to him the greetings of BCCI chairman Farouq Al Moayyed. The delegation also briefed the ambassador about the smooth flow of commercial commodities and land transportation as well as any obstacles in the way thereof. The delegation toured the consular section in the embassy and were briefed about the procedures for visas and facilitations provided by the UAE consulate to Bahraini merchants.
