Using of new technologies in agriculture

Petropavlovsk, 8 December 2008, (Khabar) - Rural workers began to use new technologies more often. Labour productivity is raising due to it. Gennady Zenchenko managed to make a rentable farm from the decayed one. This farm is like the beauty salon for cows, as they get different procedures here. The cows are also treated by vets at this farm. Currently this farm is one of the best ones in the country. But in 1970-s when a young director led the backward Novonikolsky state farm, nobody believed in success. This farm was at almost last place among all the other farms of the region. There was a tuberculosis isolator for cattle and there were almost no healthy animals here. But this state farm became advanced and progressive one during short period of time due to new technologies. The first modern dairy plant was built here during one year. 800 cows giving much milk were taken from Canada and they adapted well. Every cow gives about 7 000 tonnes of milk every year, no other cows give such quantity of milk in our country. But Gennady Zenchenko is sure it is not the limit and the next year the farm plans to receive about 30 tonnes of milk per day.
The village is developing together with the farm. 12 new buildings are built here every year. And all the hosues have heating and hot water. Currently the main attention is paid to the processing in the farm. Enterprise of Gennady Ivanovich produces over 30 types of various dairy products. Demand for ecologically pure product is raising every day and Gennady Ivanovich says the state support gives them a new impulse for the development.

Gennady Ivanovich is 72 and he is full of energy and optimism because he is engaged in favourite business. The farmer is sure the forces contributed into homeland, will be generously repaid.
