Vietnam Goods Fair organized in Thailand

BANGKOK, August 11 (TNA) - Vietnam Goods Fair is being held in Bangkok during August 11-14 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand this year. Visiting Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Cam Tu presided over a ceremony to inaugurate the four-day fair at the Central World shopping complex's front plaza in the capital on Thursday. Nguyen stressed on sound relations between Vietnam and Thailand while delivering a speech at the opening ceremony, acknowledging that the establishment of the ASEAN Community (AC), taking effective since January 1, 2016, will further facilitate business operators of both countries to expand their markets to trading partners under their free trade agreements (FTAs). Popular Vietnamese goods are available at the four-day event, jointly organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in Bangkok and the Thai–Vietnam Business Council. (TNA)
