ZICOlaw wants representatives in Asean by 2015

KUALA LUMPUR, July 17 (Bernama) -- Malaysia's largest law firm Zaid Ibrahim & Co (ZICOlaw) plans to have representatives in all Asean countries by 2015, said regional managing partner Chew Seng Kok. The company has just added Cambodia to its network in the region in joining the existing countries of Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. The expansion to Cambodia is with Sok Siphana & Associates (SSA), a law firm established by Dr Sok Siphana. Chew said the next stop would be Myanmar. "Myanmar is Asean's big player and the demand is there. We will go wherever our clients go," he told reporters after the ceremony to exchange the agreement between the firms here Tuesday. -- BERNAMA
