Checkpoints on border with China to be closed for 3 days

Bishkek, April 28, 2023. /Kabar/. From April 29 to May 1, the Torugart and Irkeshtam-checkpoints on the Kyrgyz-Chinese section of the state border will be temporarily closed, the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic said.

This is due to the celebration of the Labor Day holiday in the People's Republic of China.

The passage of persons, vehicles and goods will resume on May 2, 2023.

The Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic calls on car owners and cargo carriers to plan traffic routes in advance.
