Chongjin Steel Plant Boosts Production

Pyongyang, May 28 (KCNA) -- The Chongjin Steel Plant in the DPRK fulfilled its first half-yearly quotas for rural housing construction ahead of schedule, in hearty response to the resolutions of the 6th and 7th plenary meetings of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Officials of the plant worked out a detailed plan for the production and took timely steps to settle the knotty problems arising in production. -0-
