Dancers from Kyrgyzstan win gold at international tournament in Georgia

Bishkek, May 30, 2023. / Kabar /. A couple from Kyrgyzstan won medals at the CAUCASUS CAP-2023 international ballroom dancing tournament, the federation of this sport in the Kyrgyz Republic said.

The competition took place on May 27 in Georgia. Sportsmen from Latvia, Israel, Kazakhstan, Estonia, Georgia and Uzbekistan and other countries took part in them. Kyrgyzstan was represented by Dmitry Blinkov and Asal Mambetova.

They took the 1st place in the category "Youth Latina" CAUCASUS CAP-2023, WDSF International Open taken place in Tbilisi -2023, the 4th place in the category WDSF "Youth Latina" and in the finals of the tournament in the category "WDSF youth under 21", where 20 pairs performed, the Kyrgyzstanis took the 6th place.
