Efforts to Enhance Education Level of Rural Schools

Pyongyang, June 6 (KCNA) -- Officials in the field of education of the DPRK direct efforts to helping rural schools.

The Education Commission disseminated hundreds of teaching videos classified according to courses, subjects and grades across the country and dispatched teachers of training schools at all levels to rural schools.

This year, more than 1 000 rural schools throughout the country have been given intensive assistance.

Teachers of training schools at all levels in provinces, cities and counties have striven to improve the qualifications of teachers at rural schools and the practical abilities of their students.

Considerable successes have been made in raising the educational level of rural schools through the dissemination of superior teaching methods and the work for improving the practical qualifications of their teachers. -0-
