Mural On Kuching Jazz Music Festival is ‘Instagram-Worthy’

KUCHING (Sarawak), July 19 (Bernama) -- The Astana Wing of Riverside Majestic Hotel here is set to be the next hotspot for Instagram pictures featuring the mural on Kuching Jazz Music Festival which was painted on its sidewalls. Sarawak state Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah said the new mural will become another great tourist attraction that will make Kuching city look more vibrant. He said for the young and visitors alike, it will become the best photography spot in Kuching for postings on their social media walls. “Through these social media engagements, the coming Kuching Waterfront Jazz Festival, as well as Kuching city can become more popular and visible on the Internet,” he said in a statement here Friday. Kuching Waterfront Jazz Festival 2019 is scheduled to be held on Sept 28 and 29 at Grand Margherita Hotel. Apart from jazz performances by world-class musicians, the Kuching Waterfront Jazz Festival also features a bazaar selling arts and craft, and food and beverages. The bazaar gives festival-goers, especially visitors to Sarawak, a more holistic experience as they will be able to purchase local Sarawak wares and food. -- BERNAMA
