Al Ain Zoo participates in ADIHEX to promote preservation of UAE cultural heritage

Al Ain Zoo is to participate in the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX), to be held from 4th to 7th September 2013 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The zoo's corporate exhibition stand will be located under the Promotion '&' Preservation of Cultural Heritage section as team members aim to educate visitors about sustainable coexistence with desert wildlife. Commenting on the participation, Acting Chief Conservation and Education at Al Ain Zoo, said " Al Ain Zoo is home to conservation programmes that are significant and strategic at a global level, focusing on the wildlife of the world's arid regions, and the efforts of the zoo's Education Centre offer people various means to learn more about these initiatives. ADIHEX is a unique platform for us to reach out to the public and cultivate a knowledge culture about the environment, and we look forward to engaging visitors in this theme at our stand." As part of its commitment to arid wildlife conservation, Al Ain Zoo's experienced Education Centre personnel and conservation team will be on hand to inform visitors about the zoo's comprehensive education programmes and conservation activities.
