Al-Zayani: UAE is moving forward in its development march

ABU DHABI, 20th January, 2016 (WAM) -- Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, GCC Secretary-General, has said that the UAE is moving forward in its development march and is foreseeing the future by adopting various modern solutions in dealing with environmental issues. In a speech on the occasion of the launch of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, ADSW, Al-Zayani hailed the organisational efforts and the outstanding attendance of senior officials, experts and specialists and their active participation in ADSW's events. During his tour of the 3rd EcoWASTE exhibition, hosted by Masdar and held in partnership with Tadweer, Al Zayani was briefed on the services provided by the bodies and institutions participating in the exhibition in the field of energy, environment and waste management. EcoWASTE aims to become the international leading specialised event for sustainable waste management and recycling, bringing together leading local and international technology and service providers, local and regional buyers, and industry professionals from both the private and public sectors.
