Armenians burn over 16,000 hectares of land in Jabrail region of Azerbaijan
Baku, August 23 (AzerTAc). Nineteen years passed since the occupation of Jabrail region of Azerbaijan by Armenian armed forces. Jabrail region was rich in natural resources and had unique nature.
Unique deposits of tuff, sand, clay, drywall, limestone, gravel, chalcedony in Jabrail region now are under Armenian occupation. Some 14 eastern plane trees at the age of 200-1600 and the trees of other valuable species grew there. The Palace of Divs cave in the village of Dagtumas was one of the best natural values of that region.
According to the Azerbaijan Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, in Jabrail region Armenian invaders have destroyed and demolished forests, natural resources, and unique nature of Diridag, characterized by its unusual flora and fauna and mineral springs.
In total, Armenians burnt the territory of 16,000 hectares in Jabrail region of Azerbaijan.
