Azerbaijani and Italian scientists to study seismic hazards

Baku, July 4 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani and Italian scientists will conduct joint research on the geodynamic processes and seismic hazard. The head of the department of the Institute of Environmental Analysis Methodology of the Italian National Research Council, Professor Luciano Celeste who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, met with the Director of the Geology Institute, academician Akif Alizade and other scientists, the Geology Institute of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS). Celeste welcomed research conducted at the institute and planned in future; found it appropriate to continue jointly this research. Until July 7 the guest will explore the experiences of Azerbaijani colleagues and will take part in field research.
