Earthquake strikes south of Nakhchivan, Iran

Baku, April 18 (AzerTAc). A magnitude 5.1 earthquake occurred at 15:39 local time on Wednesday from 85 km south of Azerbaijan`s Nakhchivan region, in the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran. According to the Seismological Service of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, the magnitude 3.0 quake was felt in Nakhchivan and Ordubad. No casualties and damages have been reported.
