Mild quake jolts Shiraz

TEHRAN,Oct.21(MNA) – A mild earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale shook Shiraz, Fars Province, on early Saturday morning. According to the reports, the city of Shiraz was the epicenter of the earthquake. The earthquake occurred at 2:47 AM local time, the seismological base of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University stated. The incident has not caused damage to the city.
