“My heart, Astana!” photo album

Astana, 17 February 2009, (Khabar) - A presentation of the “My heart, Astana!” photo album was hosted at the international press centre of the capital city. This collection includes photographs of last year’s celebration of the capitals’ anniversary. There are stories depicting every single event of the festival week on the pages of the album and they amount to about 100. The book consists of 7 parts and it was published in Kazakh, Russian and English languages with an initial number of printed copies of 3000 items. Photo albums will be handed over to educational institutions of the republic which will be used for conducting tutorial hours with the authors of the pictures and other attendees of the anniversary festival involved. It is planned to publish a similar album about the multi-nationality of the main city in the future.

- During the preparation for the 10th anniversary of Astana, we worked with the regional mass media through departments of internal policy of all regional administration offices. We received reports from the regional mass media covering the 10th anniversary of Astana on a weekly basis. This also proves the fact that Astana is our common capital and we love it very much.
