Fertilizer Production Increased

Pyongyang, May 26 (KCNA) -- The Namhung Youth Chemical Complex in the DPRK is stepping up the production of fertilizer through a mass technical innovation movement, true to the resolutions of the 6th and 7th plenary meetings of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Its officials have aroused the working masses to the struggle for updating equipment, raising the proportion of locally available raw and other materials and lowering the norm of consumption per unit to the maximum.

The complex set an innovative goal for the science and technology development and mobilized its technical ability, while regularly organizing the presentation of ideas and exhibition of technical innovation achievements and introducing valuable proposals into practice.

The three-revolution team members dispatched to the complex developed a device for boosting the combustion efficiency without raising the oxygen concentration by activating the combustion air blown into the steam boiler.

The complex has recently made valuable technical achievements to boost the fertilizer production amid a brisk campaign in which one overtakes and learns from others and swaps experiences. -0-
