Foreign Minister meets Gambia Vice President

New York, Sept. 19 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, met at the UN premises today the Vice-President of the Republic of the Gambia, Muhammed Jallow, on the sidelines of the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 78).

 The two sides discussed the ties between Bahrain and Gambia, as well as ways to further enhance joint cooperation in various domains.

The two sides also discussed regional and international issues of common concern.

Ambassador Jamal Fares Al-Ruwaei, the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York, attended the meeting.
