Foreign Minister, UK FCDO State Minister for Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, United Nations hold call

Manama, Oct. 9 (BNA): A phone call was held today between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, and the Minister of State for the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia and United Nations at the United Kingdom Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, Lord Tariq Ahmad of Wimbledon.

The two sides reviewed the strong historic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, noting their development at various areas. They also discussed the latest developments in Gaza Strip and the efforts being made to achieve a ceasefire and protect civilians, in addition to a number of topics of common interest.
