Manama, Sep. 21 (BNA): The Bahrain Federation of Expatriate Associations (BFEA) is pleased to announce that following on from their successful “THIS IS BAHRAIN” International events in London, Berlin, Brussels, Paris, Washington DC and New York, that Rome, Italy will host the next ‘THIS IS BAHRAIN” event from 9th to 12th of November 2016. BFEA will lead a delegation of more than 200 'THIS IS BAHRAIN" delegates including Ministries, Parliament, Shura Council, Chamber of Commerce and Businesswomen’s Societies, Religious Institutes, Clubs, Societies, Charities represented by both Bahrainis and expatriates together. “THIS IS BAHRAIN” Roma, will be our most powerful and most colourful yet, with some very special and unique events being added. It is with great pleasure that we announce the establishment of a Full Professorship Chair, in the field of PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE at Italy’s leading university, in the name of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. This is in recognition of His Majesty’s outstanding Achievements, Reforms and sincere commitment to Human Rights and especially the Right to Religious Freedom and Peaceful Coexistence amongst peoples of all Faiths. His Majesty’s visionary and innovative Leadership is a shining example to the world that the humble Bahraini way of life, where we all live together in peace and harmony, as one family, with love and mutual respect, is the key to combatting terrorism and extremism throughout our troubled world. We are extremely proud that His Majesty’s vision and our beloved Kingdom of Bahrain will be the focus of a new Academic Discipline and students from the around the world will benefit from this wonderful opportunity. Student exchange programmes will also be organised between our two countries to maximise the mutual benefit of The King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Honours Degree in Peaceful Coexistence. We would like to take this opportunity to offer our sincerest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on this momentous landmark achievement and simply say, ‘Thank You, Your Majesty, we are all extremely grateful for all Your Majesty’s care and compassion for all peoples of all faiths and we are proud that the world will be able to study and share in Your Majesty’s philosophy. “ “In the Kingdom of Bahrain, it is the historically normal way of life for us to find many successful multi-faith marriages due to our centuries old religious freedom and peaceful co-existence and as Rome has historically been the European cradle of religions, ”THIS IS BAHRAIN” will be hosting a multi-faith wedding for ten brides and grooms from several countries such as UK, Italy, France, and Belgium. A special wedding blessing will take place, with fifteen senior Religious Leaders from European capitals carrying out the ceremony.
