11 suspects in Karbabad terrorist attack arrested

Manama, Apr. 29 (BNA): The Ministry of Interior has announced that 11 individuals, suspected of involvement in the Karbabad terrorist attack on April 16 that led to the death of policeman Mohammed Tanweer and seriously injured two others, were arrested.
The crime scene teams and other police investigators responded to the scene shortly after the incident was reported. Forensic evidence and information gathered during the investigation led to the identification and arrest of the suspects. The investigation will continue until all suspects are identified and arrested.
The main suspects who plotted, prepared and were involved in the crime:
1- Hussain Ali Mahdi Jassim, University Student (arrested)
2- Ahmed Fuad Abas Al Abar, secondary graduate (arrested)
3- Abdullah Saeed Jassim Ali, employee at a private company (fugitive and sentenced in other rioting and vandalism cases)
4- Haitham Ali Ibrahim Yousif, security guard at a private company (fugitive)
The suspects who were involved in monitoring of security patrols:
1- Hassan Ali Hassan Ali, secondary student (arrested)
2- Younis Mohammed Ibrahim Salman, driver at a private company (arrested)
3- Fadhel Abas Ali Musa, secondary student (arrested)
4- Hussain Abdulmajeed Ibrahim Ahmed, secondary student (arrested)
Suspect who filmed the terrorist attack:
1- Ghareeb Ibrahim Hilal Ali, technician at a private company (arrested)
Suspects who sheltered the terrorists and hid evidence:
1- Sayed Ayman Mohsen Ameen, secondary student (arrested)
2- Sayed Ali Mohsen Ameen, university student (arrested)
3- Sayed Ameen Hassan Mohammed, university student (arrested)
4- Murtadha Khalil Ibrahim Khalil, driver at a private company (arrested)
The arrestees confessed to the crime, outlining the various roles each of them had played before, during and after the attack. This included monitoring the movements of police jeeps, preparation of the weapons and attacking the police patrol with Molotov cocktails.
The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science referred the case to the Public Prosecution. The Interior Ministry confirmed their continued efforts to reinforce security in all parts
of Bahrain to ensure the safety of the public.
