201,794 entered Bahrain on June 16-22

Manama, June 23 (BNA): The Nationality, Passports & Residence Affairs (NPRA) on Thursday said 201,794 people had entered the Kingdom of Bahrain on June 16-22. According to the official weekly statistic, 171,008 arrived from Saudi Arabia and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries via King Fahad Causeway, 30,378 through Bahrain International Airport and 408 through ports. The 25-kilometre long King Fahad Causeway, the terrestrial link between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, was opened on November 26, 1986. It has been used by millions of travelers and vehicles, making it one of the busiest traffic areas in the Arab world.
