2022 Inter-Provincial Mass Sports Contest Goes on in DPRK

Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- The 2022 Inter-Provincial Mass Sports Contest is now underway at Kim Il Sung Stadium and the Basketball Gymnasium in Chongchun Street. A tug of war that started on September 3 is getting fiercer day after day. In the group league matches comprising A and B Groups, the teams from South Phyongan Province and Pyongyang City took the first place. A preliminary match for relay race was held on September 6 by way of four players from each team running 100 meters. Finals will be competed among the teams of South and North Phyongan, South Hamgyong, Kangwon provinces from Group A and South Hwanghae and North Hamgyong provinces and Rason and Pyongyang cities from Group B.
