25th Int'l Kharazmi Festival Opens In Tehran

Tehran, Feb 5, IRNA – The 25th International Kharazmi Festival kicked off here on Sunday in the presence of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The festival is held every year to introduce and honor achievements of Iranian and foreign researchers and academicians. President Ahmadinejad is to award top researchers with badges and certificates of honor. During the one-day festival, 31 projects chosen out of 1,519 projects received by the festival secretariat will be presented. The foreign projects are from the 46 various world states.
