4x4 Asia To Attract Thai Exhibitors

By JAMALUDDIN MUHAMMAD BANGKOK, March 29 (Bernama) -- Thai four-wheel drive manufacturers can use the 4X4 Asia 2012 showcase as a platform to further promote their market in the region. The 4X4 Asia 2012 organiser, F&R Exhibition and Conference Chief Operating Officer Raja Ridzlan Raja Abdul Aziz said on Thursday the showcase could also benefit Thai 4X4 modifiers, tuners and accessories producers. "It is a win-win situation for them to participate in the region's first dedicated showcase on 4X4," he told Bernama, here. The five day showcase starting Nov 28, at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) in Putrajaya, will gather local, regional and global manufacturers and professionals for pick-up trucks and sports utility vehicles. It will also highlight off-road and street custom bodyworks, independent prototypes of future models, interior and exterior accessories, wheels and suspensions, engine management systems, clothing and gears as well as outdoor adventure covering camping, fishing, mountaineering and jungle tracking. He said talks, seminar and workshops would also be held during the showcase. Raja Ridzlan said international 4x4 manufacturers from Australia, Europe and China have indicated strong interest to participate in the inaugural event which is expected to attract about 100 companies, occupying 400 booths. "It will be a Toysrus for 4X4. You can get anything to do with 4X4 there from winches to suspensions," he said. -- BERNAMA
