500 couples tie the knot at a mass wedding ceremony

Manama, June 27 (BNA): 500 couples tied the knot at the seventh mass marriage ceremony organized by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation and patronized by HM the King’s Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Charity Organisation, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad hailed the royal promotion to charity work and the national youth to ensure a decent and stable life for the Bahraini people. He praised the support of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation and its efforts to organize the ceremony, which reflects the solid longstanding fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. He congratulated the married couples and wished them a happy and prosperous life. UAE Ambassador to Bahrain, Shaikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan commended the royal support for the mass wedding ceremony. He also lauded the generous support of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for the Bahraini youth, as 1823 couples have been engaged in the mass wedding ceremonies held since the launch of the initiative in 2011.
