Abdullah bin Zayed orders distribution of first aid tools on "Sanid" volunteers

Abu Dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister and Chairman of the Emirates Foundation for Youth Development, has directed the foundation's team work to provide all the volunteers of the National Emergency Response Programme, "Sanid", with the various first aid tools and pulmonary resuscitation to be kept in their homes and their cars to be used in emergency cases and when necessary. The initiative aims to raise the readiness of the volunteers of the National Emergency Response Programme who have received advanced training in the field of emergency response, and enhance their willingness to face situations of crisis or emergency wherever they are and at any time, whenever they occur. In implementation of the directives of Sheikh Abdullah, the competent work committees in "Sanid" convened to discuss the action plan and make all necessary arrangements to secure first-aid tools distributed to thousands of volunteers in the programme. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
