Abdullah bin Zayed tours Tawam Hospital's Oncology Centre

Abu Dhabi (WAM): Foreign Minister H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan today visited the Oncology Centre at the Tawam Hospital in Al Ain and was received by Mr. Gregory F. Schaffer, Chief Executive Officer of the hospital and other officials. Sheikh Abdullah was briefed on curative and preventive treatment services offered to the 13 children in the centre. Sheikh Abdullah shaved his head in solidarity with the children undergoing treatment at the centre for different types of cancer. Sheikh Abdullah praised the levels of healthcare services and the world-class diagnostic and treatment technology employed at the centre. He also lauded the efforts made by the management of Tawam Hospital to provide top quality service to the patients. Tawam Hospital is part of the SEHA Health System and is owned and operated by SEHA which is responsible for the curative activities of all the public hospitals and clinics in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
