About 30 world leaders to attend royal cremation

BANGKOK, Oct 17 (TNA) – About 30 world leaders express their intention to attend the royal cremation ceremony of His Majesty late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, said Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai. More and more leaders accepted invitation and the number of honorable guests has not been concluded yet. The ministry of foreign affairs will discuss preparation to welcome them. For Thai people, living overseas, the minister said Thai embassies are ready for offering funeral sandalwood flowers for the late King on October 26, which has been declared a national public holiday, for the public to attend the historic event. Due to different time zones, the ministry will discuss again if the designated time for the sandalwood flower laying ceremonies in Thailand and other countries should be held simultaneously. (TNA)
