ADAC presents World's First National Geographic Interactive Screen

Abu Dhabi, July 17, 2013 (WAM) - As part of a live "Augmented Reality" campaign for National Geographic, the Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) is demonstrating a large augmented and interactive reality screen in Terminal 1's transit area displaying a range of creative art works.
The innovative National Geographic campaign provides a unique new concept allowing passengers to experience near-live visuals and an opportunity to interact with different types of animals and creatures. As passenger traffic increases this summer season, Abu Dhabi Duty Free is experiencing high footfall, enhancing the audience for this one-of-a-kind innovative work of art.
Eng. Ahmed Al Haddabi, Chief Operations Officer of Abu Dhabi Airports Company, said, "ADAC is honoured to have been given the opportunity to host a "first in the world" augmented reality screen for National Geographic. ADAC is committed to delivering unique travelling experiences with high quality services for passengers and will continuously strive to present new innovative and state-of-the-art technology to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction." Since 1888, National Geographic has travelled the Earth, sharing amazing stories with each new generation. With mission programmes supporting critical expeditions and scientific fieldwork, National Geographic encourages geography education for students, promotes natural and cultural conservation, and inspires audiences through new media, vibrant exhibitions, and live events. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
