AEC Meets International Delegation with Hearing, Speech Disabilities

Doha, October 26 (QNA) - The Audio Education Complex (AEC) of the Special Education and Gifted Students Department at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education hosted an international delegation hearing and speech disabilities of 15 people from around the world, with the aim of integrating this international category with the local category, to promote the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. During the visit, sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, they reviewed the most important educational services provided to students with hearing disabilities, which help them acquire skills and knowledge to serve them in academic aspects, in addition to introducing the curriculum standards received by students of the AEC in Qatar, which keep pace with global trends. In a panel discussion held on this occasion, the members of the visiting delegation asked questions about the nature of the services provided to the AEC students, the curricula offered to them, and the most important proposals that help in the development of work with this category. During their tour of the complex, the delegation got briefed with its various facilities and activities, and praised the efforts and services it provides to students. (QNA)
