Afghan official welcomes expansion of commercial ties with Iran

Tehran, Sept 18, IRNA – The commercial advisor of Afghanistan’s embassy in Tehran Abdulhadi Farhang welcomed expansion of commercial ties with Iran. He said Afghanistan enjoys a high degree of commercial exchanges with Iran since the country has joint borders with Iran. He said Afghan merchants and businessmen will welcome further cooperation with Iran if more commercial facilities and supports are offered to them in free and special economic zones. He believed such a decision will pave the way for more investments by businessmen from both sides while facilitating the access to the Central Asian countries. According to the official, Afghan traders are interested in investing in Iran’s oil, gas and petrochemical projects.
