AGU holds internal medicine conference

Manama, Mar. 11 (BNA): The Arabian Gulf University (AGU) said it is organising the first Conference of Internal Medicine on March 22-24. 40 speakers will present topics related to internal medicine specialisation in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The conference aims to support the capabilities of doctors and to inform those interested about latest therapeutic developments relevant to this vital specialisation. Dr. Amjad Al-Baz, Head of the Internal Medicine Department at AGU, said that this conference presents important points in all branches of internal medicine. 30 experts from across the world will speak at the event, and over 240 doctors, specialists, and researchers in internal medicine from the region are expected to participate. During the conference, 8 specialised sessions will be held over a 3-day period, a total of 24 accredited hours. The conference will produce recommendations to find innovative treatment solutions for all prevalent diseases.
