AGU wins quality online services award

Manama, Mar. 15 (BNA): The Arabian Gulf University (AGU) has won SAP's Quality Bronze Award for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region in recognition of its recently installed high-quality, low-cost, highly efficient administrative transactions electronic linkage software.
The University has successfully transformed all of its administrative procedures via online system thus becoming paperless, according to AGU's Vice President, Dr. Khalid Saeed Tabbara.
The university has always been keen on developing its services and harnessing technological evolution products in the era of total informatics management as per international quality standards applicable in higher educational institutions.
Mohammed Ridha Hashimi, Supervisor of AGU's Informatics Unit, ascribed the AGU's winning this prestigious award to the efficiency of the staff members of all departments, sections in the university. He added that the university will continue to pursue its policy of improvement up to highest international quality standards applicable higher educational institutions and will continue to enforce assessment processes on the basis of clear evidences and performance indices.
Also, AGU has also meritoriously obtained the institutional accreditation certification from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's National Authority for Evaluation and Academic Accreditation in recognition of the high quality of its services for the period May 2013 until April 29017.
