Al Suwaidi hails Sheikh Abdullah's visit to ECSSR's pavilion at ADIBF

Abu Dhabi, April 29, 2013 (WAM) - The visit by H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, and H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President, to the stand of the Emirates Center For Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR), at the current Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, reflects the interest of the wise leadership in culture and knowledge and in promoting the UAE's stature among nations, according to the Director General of ECSSR Jamal Sanad Al-Suwaidi. Sheikh Abdullah and Sheikh Sultan attended the signing ceremony of Al Suwaidi's book "From Tribe to Facebook" at the think tank's stand. He also noted that His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) had offered a grant worth Dh 3 million to encourage students to purchase books during the 23rd Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF). He said the initiative reflects his great interest in promoting knowledge, culture and science. Al Suwaidi also urged for more learning and knowledge in all disciplines to enable the UAE to make a major cultural leap in the third millennium in line with directives from President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
