ALHOSN University recognised by the Association of Arab Universities

Abu Dhabi (WAM): ALHOSN University has announced its inclusion in the Association of Arab Universities. The recognition, which the university described as an honour, means that the Abu Dhabi based institution, which opened in 2005, is now part of an organisation working within the framework of the Arab League. The Association of Arab Universities has 240 university members from 22 countries, working to support and connect universities in the Arab world to enhance cooperation among them. Dr. Munther Momany, Vice Chancellor and CEO of ALHOSN University, said that the recent honour for ALHOSN University marks the continued efforts it has made in the education sector. Speaking about the university's educational approach, Dr. Munther said, "I think it is imperative for us as education providers to shift our focus. The most important objective of education should be to teach the students to know how to use, relate, implement, and expand their knowledge responsible. "By supporting students in acquiring savoir-faire, education will enable individuals to be valuable contributors to the economy as well as leading innovators in their nations. Education should teach students how to produce actions and reactions adapted to human society and the environment," he concluded. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
