AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation plans to launch “Jaser” remote work platform to support Bahraini talent

Manama, mar. 31 (BNA): AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation has announced its readiness to implement “Jaser”, a first-of-its-kind initiative in Bahrain that includes a “Remote Work” platform as a new addition to the services provided by the Foundation. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed with “Vanguard" to implement the project that comes in line with the Foundation’s efforts to strengthen its community partnership and its mission to empower young people to develop their educational and practical skills in order to achieve Bahrain Economic Vision 2030. The rapid and successive technological developments have resulted in the creation of a new culture within the labor market, including remote and temporary work based on the completion of certain tasks. The platform will contribute to providing the best approach that will enable companies and individuals to search for the optimal provider of a required professional service, in addition to promoting local talent on a regional and global level. "We are pleased to collaborate with Vanguard to launch this platform that provides a virtual job market that showcases the potential talents of the Bahraini youth locally and internationally," Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, said. "It also gives companies and individuals the opportunity to earn income flexibly and easily by increasing their capabilities through their ability to boost productivity and gain more professional experience." AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation is constantly striving to keep pace with global trends in order to empower young people and invest in the future, thereby enhancing the Kingdom's economic standing and helping young people contribute to the overall development process, she added. Vanguard Group Founder and Managing Director Hazem Janahi thanked AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation for its cooperation to launch the online platform. "This indicates their great awareness on the importance of keeping pace with the latest global trends to boost the Kingdom’s economy," he said. "This platform will provide young people with an ideal environment to obtain job opportunities and enhance their confidence in themselves and their professional capabilities. It will also serve all members of society from those seeking temporary work and companies searching for suitable experts for their various projects." Remote work is the future of employment, an alternative to the traditional economy and full-time job, due to the flexibility and employment opportunities it provides for the unemployed, part-time workers and early retirement retirees. The remote work system relies on flexible, temporary or independent jobs, and as such is adapted to the needs of the current situation. This type of work benefits both businesses and consumers in the labor market, while also providing users of the platform with greater flexibility, independence and financial security. There has been a steady increase in remote and temporary work known as GIG, and has become a competitive economy for traditional work, its contribution to the U.S. economy "for example" exceeded $1.28 trillion in 2018, a growth equivalent to 50% a year-on-year growth. Established on May 30, 2011, AlMabarrah AlKhalifia is a non-profit foundation run by an independent council of secretaries with a long-standing experience in community service. It aims to empower Bahraini youth to succeed through launching comprehensive programmes. Its vision aims to create dynamic and active members in society with a focus on achieving educational excellence.
