Ambassador highlights Princess Sabeeka Global Award

Berlin, Aug. 28 (BNA): The Head of the Gender Equality Department at the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth of the Federal Republic of Germany, Christine Morgenstern, received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Berlin, Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah. Morgenstern welcomed the ambassador, expressing her pride in and appreciation for the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries. Ambassador Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah explained the Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Global Award for Women Empowerment and the work provided by the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), led by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and SCW President. He said that the SCW empowers women politically, socially and economically under the Reform Project of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.  He further reviewed the areas and steps that enable the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth to participate in the Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Global Award for Women Empowerment.
