Ambassador lauds Bahraini-Moroccan joint musical performance

Manama, Dec. 20 (BNA): The Ambassador of Morocco to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Ahmed Rasheed Khattabi, commended the joint musical performance of the Bahraini "Mohammed Bin Faris "Music Band and the Moroccan " Andalusian Music Nights" Ensemble on Friday as part of the Kingdom of Bahrain's National Day celebrations. During a reception he hosted on Saturday in honour of the Moroccan music band, the ambassador said: "In addition to its technical indications, this experience embodies open, innovative interaction with our genuine musical heritage and has clear symbolic indications as it coincides with the Kingdom's glorious National Day and HM the King's Accession anniversary celebrations and constitutes a moment to share the strong fraternal sentiments of joy with the Bahraini people". This joint celebration reflects the outstanding and distinguished bilateral ties in line with the directives of HM King Muhammad VI and HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and Their Majesties' keenness on consolidating the fraternal bonds between the two countries, as part of mutual respect, appreciation, benefit and defending international legitimacy and respecting of sovereignty and territorial integrity of states and rejection of any interference in their internal affairs," said the Moroccan ambassador.
