Ambassadors of number of countries present credentials to Jeenbekov

Bishkek, Feb.13, 2020. /Kabar/. Today, Feb.13 President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov received credentials from ambassadors of Tajikistan, Iran, Iceland, Slovenia and Israel, his press service reported on Thursday.
President Jeenbekov congratulated the ambassadors on the start of the diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan, expressing confidence that their activities and professional experience will give impetus to the development of bilateral relations.
In his conversation with each of the ambassadors, the Kyrgyz leader discussed promising areas of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, expressed interest in strengthening political dialogue, developing trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
Prospects of interaction in the spheres of energy, tourism, healthcare, attraction of investments were also discussed.
"I wish you fruitful diplomatic activity in Kyrgyzstan. I am confident you will make a significant contribution to developing the potential of bilateral relations. Joint implementation of projects in the discussed areas will undoubtedly contribute to building up our cooperation," Sooronbay Jeenbekov said.
The issues of delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border were also discussed with Tajik Ambassador Nazirmad Alizoda. The sides noted importance to accelerate this process, taking into account the interests of both sides.
Ambassadors of Iran, Iceland, Slovenia and Israel told Sooronbay Jeenbekov about the priority tasks that they intend to implement in Kyrgyzstan, assuring that they will make every effort to fully develop bilateral relations.
