AmCham is pleased to announce the event sponsors committed to date include Platinum Sponsors: Hot-Hed and Lincoln Motor Car Company; and Gold Sponsors: AECOM, BMMI, Crescent Global Insurance Services, FedEx, Great Lakes Dredge & Dock, and Shelf Drilling. Hole sponsors include: AXA Insurance, Euromotors, Khalifa Algosaibi Trading Company. Venue Sponsor: Royal Golf Club. Beverage sponsor BMMI. Catering: Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay. And the generous hospitality of the U.S. Embassy to Bahrain and His Excellency Ambassador and Mrs. Roebuck for hosting us at their lovely home. A big thank you to all of our sponsors. The Bahrain-U.S. Free Trade Agreement is marking its 10th anniversary this year and it is going strong. Bilateral trade reached more than 2 billion dollars in 2015. Companies and consumers in Bahrain and the U.S. benefit from the FTA in many ways including the duty free trade in consumer, industrial and agricultural products; substantial market access across the entire services sector; strong protection and enforcement for copyright, patent, and trademark owners and intellectual property protection in the digital environment, supporting electronic media and Internet service providers; increased transparency and efficiency in customs administration, including publication of laws and regulations on the Internet and procedural certainty and fairness. All of these benefits create a ripe environment for promoting bilateral trade and investment. AmCham is committed to helping both U.S. and Bahrain companies leverage the FTA and will be focusing on helping SMEs use this important trade tool. This year begins a tradition – AmCham’s annual golf tournament will be a commemoration of the valued relationship shared between the two countries.
